Teachers are the single most important ingredient for motivating students and for delivering the high quality learning and innovation that underpins our nation’s future workforce and economy. This quality does not happen spontaneously. Teachers need stimulating and challenging experiences that bridge the gap between research and classroom teaching. Along the way, they need to network with each other in order to maximize the benefits and value of their own learning. Teachers need to be recharged periodically to get their curiosity, knowledge, and excitement bolstered for STEM.
For many decades Argonne National Laboratory, along with key partners, has offered a plethora of activities in the form of workshops, classes, seminars, conferences, and internships for teachers, and competitions for students and teachers. The relationship between teachers and the laboratory has been extraordinary - a benefit for the laboratory that we are very proud of, one that channels and applies our expertise….one that captures students’ minds and hearts, and one that will generate better-equipped students and new opportunities for leadership and growth for the future.
Dear Teachers -- Thank you for all that you do!
